FAQ
1. Where do you ship?
At this time, I ship within the United States. If you’re located outside the U.S. and are interested in a piece, please feel free to contact me. International orders may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the destination and the item.
2. How should I care for my wire-wrapped jewelry?
Copper and sterling silver naturally tarnish over time, but this does not mean your jewelry is damaged. With proper care, your piece can continue looking beautiful for years. For routine cleaning, gently wash your jewelry with a small amount of mild dish soap and lukewarm water, then dry it thoroughly with a soft towel. Use the included polishing cloth as needed to restore shine. When your jewelry is not being worn, storing it in a sealed plastic bag in a cool, dry place can also help slow the tarnishing process.
If your copper jewelry becomes heavily tarnished or dull over time, the exposed copper can be polished to restore a brighter finish. A jewelry polishing cloth is the safest place to start. For more stubborn tarnish, mix a small amount of baking soda with water to create a soft paste. Apply it gently to the exposed copper with a soft cloth or cotton swab, avoiding the gemstone as much as possible. Carefully remove any residue and dry the piece thoroughly. Please keep in mind that deeper cleaning or polishing may also lighten or remove some of the intentionally oxidized areas that give the wire its darker accents. Avoid harsh chemical jewelry dips, prolonged soaking, and ultrasonic cleaners, especially on pieces containing gemstones, since different stones can react differently to cleaning methods.
3. What does my jewelry come with?
Each jewelry piece arrives carefully packaged in a gift box and includes a polishing cloth and jewelry care information. Your purchase is ready for gifting at no additional charge.
4. What should I know about natural gemstones and mineral specimens?
Natural gemstones and mineral specimens are individually formed by nature, so variations in color, pattern, inclusions, texture, matrix, and formation are completely normal. These natural characteristics are part of what makes each piece unique. I make every effort to accurately photograph and describe each item, including any treatments or characteristics that are important to know.
5. Do you create custom jewelry?
Yes. I welcome inquiries about custom pieces. If you have a particular stone, style, color palette, or idea in mind, please contact me and tell me what you’re looking for. Custom work is accepted based on availability, materials, and the nature of the project.
6. Why might my jewelry or stones look slightly different from the photos?
I make every effort to photograph gemstones and jewelry as accurately as possible. However, colors and details can appear slightly different depending on lighting, screen settings, and the device you’re using. Gemstones can also look different depending on the angle and type of light, which is part of their natural beauty.
7. What is your return and repair policy?
I want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have a concern with an eligible ready-made item, please contact me within 7 days of delivery. Eligible returns must be unworn, unused, unaltered, and in their original condition with all original packaging and included materials. If your jewelry arrives damaged or you believe there is a workmanship issue, please contact me within the same 7-day period and include clear photographs so I can determine the best way to help. Custom and personalized pieces are generally considered final sale since they are created specifically for you. After the 7-day period, items are no longer eligible for return or refund. Repair requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis, but availability is not guaranteed and fees may apply. For complete return deadlines, shipping requirements, custom-order terms, and repair information, please see my Full Returns & Repairs Policy.
